By now you've probably heard of Pixar's latest movie, Up, about a cranky old man who uses balloons to take his house to the wild blue yonder. Perhaps you've seen it?
I'll wait for the dvd release. With three young boys, I prefer watching movies at home (Redbox has new dvd rentals for $1/night) to taking my family to the theater. Ranging in age from 2 to 6, they don't often find the same entertainment appealing.
According to a Wired article, with a bit over 100,000 balloons someone really could launch a house. They call it cluster ballooning. A guy made headlines awhile back when he did something similar on a smaller scale...launched himself in his trusty lawn chair.
